Lucy, a 6-year-old female Golden Retriever weighing over 100lbs, is a bonded pair with her best friend Dexter. They were surrendered to Wags due to their owner's disabilities and allergies, and are looking for a new home where they can live their best lives. Lucy is the leader of the pair, with Dexter always watching out for her. They are both house-trained and crate-trained, but prefer to sleep in their owner's room and have full run of the house when left alone. They are gentle with treats and love to cuddle at your feet. While they are initially energetic when meeting new people, they quickly settle down and enjoy lots of love and affection. Lucy, along with Dexter, does not like water, even though they live in a home with a pool. She sleeps through storms, including a recent tornado.

A family who will work with them on a daily diet and exercise routine to help them lose some weight. They need to be adopted as a pair as they rely on each other and express high anxiety if separated.
