Lex is the epitome of a good time! She's a bouncy, playful dog who is loving of everyone and excited to make new friends, whether they're human or canine. She truly knows how to have fun no matter the situation! The moment you meet Lex, you'll fall in love with her boundless joy. She's the queen of zoomies, kisses, and tug-of-war. When she first met her foster, she ran up with a wagging tail and a huge smile, immediately showering everyone with affection. Lex loves to play with everyone, and she plays hard with other dogs! She is full of energy. Lex is a Pitbull Cattle Dog mix with beautiful cattle spotting and super cute pointed ears, weighing in at 56lbs of pure happiness. During playgroups, she did great with all types of dogs, playing for extended periods with most of them. She has a more rough play style but is considerate of other dogs and is good at reading vibes. Lex played the hardest with confident females who also loved to play. She could do great in a home with males or females, though she seems to enjoy the ladies' company a bit more. Just be prepared for play that can last all day long!
Ideal Home
Lex would run around the yard for hours if you let her, so it is super important for her to go into a home with a yard and an active owner. She is very high-energy and loves to be active. The perfect owner for her would be someone familiar with Cattle Dogs, as she is definitely a wild child! Lex has not currently been kid-tested, but considering how loving she is, we believe she would adore children. We suggest an older child who can hold their own since Lex is so active and playful. Cats are a no-go for Lex; she was so happy and excited to meet our resident cat, Biggie, that we see her possibly being too rough with felines during play.

Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
