Daisy Sue, a 2-year-old spayed female, is a delightful 35-pound mix of Pointer and Australian Cattle Dog, affectionately nicknamed "Dollop of Daisy." She's a bundle of joy, playfulness, and sweetness, known for her adorable zoomies and affectionate cuddles. Daisy's journey led her to us after being returned to a shelter and placed on a euthanasia list, and we're so happy to give this deserving girl a second chance at a happy life.
Ideal Home
Daisy would thrive in an active home that can provide her with daily exercise, playtime with another dog, or a securely fenced yard. She's a wonderful work-from-home companion but enjoys keeping an eye on her surroundings. She'd do best in a calm environment with a predictable routine, ideally with children 10 years or older who understand how to approach a shy dog. A home with another friendly, confident dog is strongly preferred, as Daisy loves to play and learn from canine companions. While she's generally well-behaved, she does find shoes fascinating, so keeping them put away will help!

Training & Support
Daisy is a smart and well-mannered pup! She is fully house-trained with no accidents, walks beautifully on leash without reacting to passersby, and is crate-trained, sleeping soundly in her crate at night. She has no issues with resource guarding and happily shares her toys and treats. Daisy is very food-motivated, which makes training a breeze. She can be a bit shy when meeting new people, especially men, and may bark or keep her distance initially. With patience, gentle voices, and space, she quickly warms up and reveals her affectionate, cuddly side.

Transportation
Daisy is currently in a foster home in Houston, Texas. She is able to be transported to her adoptive home once an adopter is matched.
