ABOUT FENRIS
Calling all spicy Chihuahua lovers, meet the sassiest little man around! Fenris is a 4-year-old Chihuahua with some very big feelings (and even bigger opinions). He came to HAP when his owner could no longer keep him, and let's just say... he is not impressed with shelter life. Fenris is clearly accustomed to the finer things, his ideal day includes wearing a cozy sweater and being carried around like the king he knows he is. While he can be nervous when meeting new people, he's excellent at communicating when he needs space (boundaries? we love to see it). With time, patience, and a steady supply of tasty snacks, he warms up and transforms into a full-on stage ten clinger. We've seen glimpses of Fenris's loving and playful side, and he's looking for an adopter who will give him the time, respect, and understanding he needs to truly shine!
**Fenris thinks other dogs are dirty and weird, so he is looking to be your only pet, non-negotiable. He also thinks children are loud and annoying, so calm adults are preferred for this king!
If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
