Duri

Duri is a young, female, medium-sized mixed breed dog who has overcome a difficult past. Found as a stray, Duri endured a life of fear and constant danger. She was repeatedly attacked by street dogs, forcing her into survival mode. Thankfully, Duri has since completed heartworm treatment and undergone intensive rehabilitation. She is now learning to experience happiness, enjoying soft beds, gentle hands, and the freedom to just be a dog. Duri adores people, but her past trauma means she struggles to feel safe around other dogs. This fear is not aggression, and she is slowly learning to let go of it.

Ideal Home

Duri needs a home filled with patience, compassion, and a big heart. She thrives in a calm environment where she can continue to build her confidence. Due to her past experiences, Duri is not comfortable with other dogs or children under 8.

Ongoing Health

Duri has successfully completed heartworm treatment. She is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Duri is still working through her fear-based reactions to other dogs. She needs continued positive reinforcement and gentle guidance to help her build confidence and overcome these challenges.
