Meet Yoka, a sweet female pup who recently found her way to our rescue. With her soft, soulful eyes and a tender heart, Yoka is one of those dogs who quietly captures your attention and keeps a piece of your heart.

Still just a puppy, Yoka is learning to navigate the big world around her. She can be a little apprehensive at firsttaking things in with careful curiositybut with patience and love, she begins to open up. You can see the trust grow in her eyes, and its truly something special.

Yoka is expected to be medium-sized when fully grown, making her a perfect fit for many types of homes. Shes not a bold adventurer just yet, but shes looking for someone to show her that the world is a safe, loving place. Before leaving Cortez Rescue, all dogs will be given a full medical assessment to ensure optimum health, current on vaccinations, and spayed/neutered. All dogs are micro-chipped before leaving Mexico.
