Bandit AW

Bandit is a female German Shepherd with a touch of Husky, making her uniquely special! She was born on July 21, 2025, and at the beginning of March, weighed in at a healthy 71 pounds. She was a perfect patient during her spay surgery and happily took all her medicine, especially when mixed with tasty wet food. Bandit is full of energy and is looking for an active family who loves playtime and the outdoors. She enjoys chasing balls, chewing on bones, and playing with her siblings. She even has a Great Dane best friend, so she can certainly keep up with the big dogs! Bandit's favorite game involves making stuffed toys disappear by removing all the stuffing, creating a snowy scene. While she lives with an outdoor cat who keeps her distance, Bandit's compatibility with friendly felines is unknown. She is a total sweetheart with people, loves to snuggle, and will happily give kisses. Belly and chest rubs make her melt into your lap. She's also great with foster grandkids aged 4 and 8, though she sometimes gets excited and accidentally knocks over the little ones, always making up for it with kisses.

Training & Support

Bandit is house-trained and uses a doggy door. She is not yet crate-trained but is working on leash training and becoming more comfortable meeting new people. She can be reserved at first but warms up quickly with patience, encouragement, and treats.
