Millie is a strikingly beautiful and very young pup who will be ready to go home around June 20th - 27th. At just 6 weeks old and 7 lbs, Millie is an absolutely perfect little pup – sweet, cuddly, curious, and adventurous. She is being fostered with two siblings who have adoptions pending. As a northern Manitoba rescue, she is a mix of breeds with uniquely beautiful Aussie markings, a stunning merle coat, and a sweet freckled nose.
Millie is the first to do everything! She's mastering climbing stairs, wrestling with her 40-lb canine foster mom and mentor, and is keen to do her business outside instead of on her P-pad. She is already sleeping 7 hours through the night in a puppy pile with her siblings, getting up quietly to do their business before going back to sleep. In the morning, they all rush to the back door to play on the deck before breakfast. Millie is a sheer delight, remarkably calm and content for such a young pup. None of the pups bark or cry at mealtime; they just politely await their meals. Whoever adopts Millie will be so very lucky. She's already had a big adventure, flying in a helicopter and small airplane with her 8 siblings to join K9 Advocacy Manitoba. Millie's next big adventure will be joining her new family!
Ideal Home
Millie would love a big yard and a furry big brother or sister to show her the ropes growing up, or she would be happy to be the spoiled only pup in a family.
Ongoing Health
Millie is a young puppy and will need all her puppy vaccinations and regular vet check-ups as she grows.
Training & Support
Millie is already showing great progress with potty training and sleeping through the night. Continued positive reinforcement and consistent training will help her thrive.
