Rufus

Rufus is a two-year-old, approximately 73-pound, neutered male Standard Poodle mix who is past the puppy antics but still full of fun! This affable guy loves other dogs and is happy to meet new people. He's a true fetch enthusiast, bringing the ball back every time and nudging it back to you for another round of play. While he's eager to go, he sometimes struggles with sitting before a toss due to his excitement to play. Rufus enjoys walks but tends to pull a bit on leash as he explores scents, and would benefit from some additional training in this area. He's not overly motivated by standard crunchy treats, seeming to prefer something a bit more high-value. Rufus came in with his canine friend, Miles, and would likely enjoy having another dog in his new home. He's a tidy boy and is considered house-trained. We don't have information on his compatibility with cats at this time.

Ideal Home

Rufus would thrive in an active home that enjoys playing fetch. A home with another dog could be a great fit for him.
