SHERBERT

Sherbert is a charming male German Shepherd Mix looking for a loving home to complete his heartworm treatment through our Foster-to-Adopt program! He's a sweet boy who's eager to find his forever family. While he's undergoing treatment, which will take a few months, he's able to do so in a home environment rather than staying at the shelter. Once his treatment is successfully completed, you'll be able to finalize his adoption and make him a permanent member of your family!

Ideal Home

Sherbert needs a quiet home environment during his treatment. This means no roughhousing or playing hard with people or other pets. He must be kept on a leash at all times when outside and can only go for short, 15-minute walks three to four times a day.

Ongoing Health

Sherbert is currently being treated for heartworm disease. The Wags organization will provide all necessary food, medication, and veterinary care during his foster period. Staff are available to answer any questions you may have about heartworm treatment.

Training & Support

During his heartworm treatment, Sherbert needs to be kept as quiet as possible to avoid complications. This includes limiting strenuous play. Once his treatment is complete, he'll be ready to run, play, and be his silly self again!
