Sasha

Sasha is a beautiful, approximately 5-year-old, 55-pound mixed breed lady with a heart full of love to give! She was rescued in rough shape, emaciated and suffering from mastitis just days after giving birth. Sasha has made a remarkable recovery and is now a super sweet, loveable, and intelligent companion eager to please. She's not possessive with her food and would make a wonderful loyal buddy.

Ideal Home

Sasha would do well in a home without a fenced yard, though she does enjoy having space to run and play ball. She is good with children, but given her size, a home with dog-savvy parents committed to proper supervision for safe interactions would be ideal. While she is good with dogs, she requires a proper introduction. Her foster parents are unsure about her compatibility with cats due to her tendency to chase small animals.

Ongoing Health

Sasha tested positive for Lyme disease and is currently completing a 30-day regimen of Doxycycline.

Training & Support

Sasha is housebroken and crate trained. She walks well on a leash but can pull a bit when excited by small critters; a prong collar might be beneficial. She enjoys car rides and can sit nicely in either the front or back seat.
