Daisy Sue is a 2-year-old, 35-pound spayed female Pointer and Australian Cattle dog mix with a personality as bright as her name! Affectionately nicknamed "Dollop of Daisy," she's a bundle of joy who brings playfulness and sweetness wherever she goes. Daisy was rescued from a euthanasia list after being returned to a shelter, and we're so happy to give her a well-deserved second chance at a loving home.
Ideal Home
Daisy would thrive in an active home with another friendly dog for companionship, as she loves to play and has done well with dogs of all sizes. A securely fenced yard where she can burn off energy or opportunities for daily walks would make her very happy. She also enjoys being a work-from-home companion, happily snoozing nearby. Children 10 years or older who understand how to respect a shy dog would be a good fit. She can be left loose in the house when alone, but keep shoes put away as she finds them fascinating!
Ongoing Health
Daisy is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.
Training & Support
Daisy is fully house-trained with zero accidents and walks beautifully on leash, showing no reactivity to dogs, runners, or people. She is crate-trained and sleeps through the night. Daisy has no issues with resource guarding and politely shares toys and treats. She is food-motivated, which makes training even more enjoyable. While she can be shy when meeting new people, especially men, she warms up with patience, gentle voices, and a little space. A calm home with a predictable routine would be ideal for this sensitive soul.
