Chevy

Chevy is a 5-year-old Labrador Retriever/Wirehaired Terrier mix, weighing about 65 pounds, and he's the definition of a gentle soul. If you're searching for a dog that's past the puppy chaos but still enjoys getting out for adventures, Chevy may be your perfect match. Chevy's favorite thing in the world is going for walks, and he's an absolute gentleman on leash, walking politely by your side with a loose leash and great manners. When he's home, Chevy is calm, quiet, and easy to live with. He's fully potty trained, knows "sit," "lay down," and comes when called. He rarely barks, has wonderful house manners, and takes treats with the softest mouth. While he's crate trained, he'd much rather spend his time hanging out with his people. Chevy enjoys other dogs and has shown himself to be friendly and respectful, happily walking away if another dog isn't interested in playing. He previously lived with cats. His experience with children is currently unknown. This sweet boy also has a fun side – he absolutely loves sprinklers and the hose! Bath time doesn't bother him one bit. Chevy has so much love to give and is ready to find a family who will cherish him. Whether you're exploring the neighborhood on a morning walk or relaxing together after a long day, Chevy will be happiest simply being by your side.
