My name is Ned, and I'm a handsome boy with a coat that looks black but shines a warm brown in the sun, complete with adorable white toes. My face might look a little grumpy, but those distinguished white hairs on my chin give me a charming goatee! I arrived from New Mexico with my siblings, Dusty and Lucky, as "The Three Amigos," and I've been working on becoming the best boy ever since. I'm already potty-trained, but I might have an occasional accident if I can't hold it, so it's important to watch for my signals! I'm a world-class snuggler and love to sleep in bed, right next to my foster mom. I know "sit," "off," and "come," and I'm learning "down," "stay," and "wait." Training classes sound like fun, and I'd love to learn new things with you! I enjoy chasing rolling things, playing tug-of-war with unstuffed toys, and searching for treats. While I'm still learning, I'm getting better every day and am eager to please. I do have a tendency to explore high surfaces, but I'm being taught "off" and am getting the hang of it. My bark is surprisingly small and squeaky, especially when I'm scared, but luckily, that doesn't happen often. I love to wrestle and play with dogs of all sizes, and my foster mom calls me "Jaws" when I playfully show off my teeth and gums. She also calls me "Snuffles" because I eat my meals from a Snuffle Mat to slow me down, and she rations my water because I'm a fast drinker. I'm not a fan of the cold weather but don't mind looking dapper in cute coats! I promise to try my best to be "Nifty Ned" rather than "Naughty Ned." I'm friendly with kids, including my 10-year-old human foster sister, and I like meeting her friends. While I haven't met a cat, I'm curious and would probably try to say hello. I get along with other dogs but do get picked on by larger ones, so I'm looking for a home with another dog for companionship, as I truly need a canine friend to cuddle and play with.
Ideal Home
I need a home with another dog to provide comfort and companionship. I also love being on the sofa and sleeping in bed with my family. I need a family that has time to spend with me, engage in play, walks, and training.

Training & Support
I am potty trained but may have occasional accidents if my signals are missed. I am still learning commands like "down," "stay," and "wait." I am also working on not exploring high surfaces. I enjoy training and would benefit from ongoing positive reinforcement.
