Max

Max is a 2-year-old mixed bully breed weighing approximately 60 pounds, and he may just be the loyal companion you've been searching for! Max's favorite thing in the world is to be with his people. He's a true "Velcro dog" who loves to be by your side, whether that's curled up at your feet, snuggled on the couch, or showering you with sloppy kisses. He enjoys playtime and adventures, but he's equally happy to settle down for a nap afterward. Max sleeps well, eats well, and truly thrives on companionship. He's also a big fan of car rides – if he sees an open car door, he'll likely hop right in for the next adventure! Max walks nicely on a leash and approaches life with curiosity and enthusiasm. He has done well with cats overall, and while he's curious and might chase if given the chance, he has not shown aggression.

Ideal Home

Max is still learning how to be left alone. He isn't a fan of the crate yet, so his future family should be prepared to continue crate training and help build his confidence when he's by himself. He is happiest spending lots of time with his people.

Ongoing Health

Max is fully vetted, up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Max can get excited and may jump up to say hello. When anxious, he may paw or scratch. Continued work on confidence when alone and managing excitement will help him succeed.
