Smokey

Meet Smokey! This handsome 2-year-old, 56-pound neutered Lab mix is ready to bring his playful spirit and silly antics into your home. He's fully vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on all preventatives. Smokey is a smart and happy boy who enjoys a good romp with other dogs and knows when it's time to chill. He's friendly with new people and has shown calmness around children while crated. He can be curious about cats and may initiate play, but he's also content to ignore them.

Ideal Home

Smokey would thrive in a moderately active home with a patient family. He would do best with a confident, playful dog sibling to help him learn the ropes.

Smokey is up to date on all vaccinations and preventatives.

Training & Support

Smokey is still learning basic commands and needs patient training for leash walking, as he can be enthusiastic. He is not a fan of the crate but settles once inside and should be crated when left alone for no longer than 9 hours, as he can be rambunctious and an escape artist. He thinks many things are edible, so it's best to keep tempting items out of reach.
