Hi friends, my name is Gabby!
I’m a sweet and affectionate 1.5-year-old girl with soft, endearing eyes and a loyal heart. I’m a quiet girl who is entering a new and exciting stage in life and I’m continuing to blossom and show more of my personality every day. Right now, I’m soaking up the warm days and really enjoying relaxing outside, especially when I get to roll over for belly rubs. My foster says I’m a smart girl who is learning very well on leash, and I’m already making great improvements with my walking skills. I absolutely love the outdoors and spending time with my people. I like to stay close by your side, gently leaning in and nudging you for cuddles and affection. I travel really well in the car, and I recently enjoyed a fun weekend trip to the cottage where I got to explore and enter full relaxation mode. I can sometimes be a little startled by new sounds, but I’m learning quickly and adjusting well with gentle encouragement. I will benefit from continued training to help build my confidence and skills. With that guidance, I know I’ll continue to blossom into the wonderful girl I’m meant to be. I especially love evening walks when the golden hour hits my curly fur, really showing off just how beautiful I am. My foster even laughs at my silly side, I sometimes pretend I don’t hear her when she’s trying to get me to look at the camera for photos! It’s all part of my sweet charm. What I would love most is a family who understands that I’m a gentle girl taking brave new steps each day.
