He's incredibly dog-friendly, loves toys, and is full of affection. Scotty is a social butterfly with other dogs, enjoying playful wrestling and games of tag. He's been respectful of smaller dogs and would do best with a playful female companion. While he's a happy, goofy goober who loves everyone, he should not be placed in a home with cats. Scotty is smart, knows basic commands like "sit," and is eager to please, making him a great candidate for continued training.

Ideal Home

Scotty would thrive in a semi-active home with a backyard where he can explore and play. He'd do best with children 12 and up who can match his playful energy.

Training & Support

Scotty is crate trained and almost fully potty trained, though occasional accidents may happen as he continues to learn. He walks fairly well on a leash, though he can pull with excitement initially. With consistent practice and reminders, he'll be walking like a pro in no time.

Transportation is available nationwide via our rescue run USDA certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Transport to Canada requires pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
