Cally is a 3.5-year-old, spayed female, Pitbull mix weighing around 40 pounds. She's a high-energy, happy-go-lucky girl with a huge heart and an even bigger personality. Cally is playful, affectionate, curious, and endlessly kind, bringing joy and laughter wherever she goes. She loves to play with other dogs of all sizes and can go for hours if you let her! She's also excellent with children and strangers. Cally is fully crate and house trained, and travels well in a car kennel. She doesn't have separation anxiety and sleeps soundly in her crate at night. Cally is a smart girl and very food-motivated, making training fun and rewarding! One of her most charming traits is her big, silly smile when she's getting affection, and she's a world-class cuddler! When she gets the zoomies, she runs so fast she looks like a baby goat!
Ideal Home
Cally needs a home that can keep up with her energy and provide plenty of playtime and chances to run at least twice a day. She thrives with structure, exercise, and love.
Ongoing Health
Cally is spayed and up-to-date on all vaccinations.
Training & Support
Cally may pull on the leash initially due to excitement, but will calm down with continued training. While house-trained, she is still learning to have full freedom indoors and needs supervision to prevent chewing on shoes or blankets. Cally needs to be separated from other dogs during meal times as she has made progress with food-related resource guarding and is uncomfortable eating near other dogs. Feeding her in her crate works beautifully. She does best sleeping alone in her crate; if left loose or crated with another dog, she may get into mischief.
