Hello! I am Chilaquil, a sweet, medium-sized (16lb) senior dog with medium-length brown hair. I'm about 11 years and 9 months old and have already been dewormed, vaccinated, and neutered. I ended up wandering in a neighborhood for months until I saw my friend, Pato, find a warm, welcoming home with other pets. I decided to follow suit and found my way to that same house!
While getting checked out, I was diagnosed with infectious rhinotracheitis and received treatment. My wonderful caretakers also ran some tests to make sure I was healthy enough for my neuter surgery and even gave me a much-needed dental cleaning. I'm a very sociable dog with people and get along wonderfully with other small dogs and cats. I enjoy spending my time indoors but also love to sunbathe and stroll around the yard. Sometimes, I bark when people move too quickly, as it's a bit harder for me to recognize them with my aging eyes. My previous caretakers had to move abroad, but I'm currently staying with a loving person who is helping me find my forever home. I'm quite affectionate and truly cherish calm company. I've been patiently waiting for my forever family for nearly two years and haven't lost hope. I'm dreaming of a loving and responsible family to spend my golden years with!
Ideal Home
I love a calm and peaceful environment where I can relax and enjoy good company.
Ongoing Health
I was treated for infectious rhinotracheitis. I also received a dental cleaning and have had all my necessary veterinary procedures, including deworming, vaccination, and neutering.
Training & Support
