About Glory

Meet Glory! She is 6 years old and a sensitive soul who is still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. Glory can be unsure in new environments, often moving slowly and cautiously or needing a little extra encouragement to get going. Loud noises can be overwhelming for her, and when she’s feeling nervous, she may try to retreat or make herself small. But once she’s outside and has a chance to breathe, you can see her confidence start to grow! Out in the fresh air, Glory becomes more curious and engaged, happily sniffing, exploring, and even showing off a playful side. She loves carrying toys around and will chase after them with enthusiasm, though she hasn’t quite figured out the whole “bring it back” part yet. Glory enjoys attention and greets people with a soft body and a wagging tail when she feels safe. She came to us as a stray and is up to date on vaccines, spayed, and microchipped.

Ideal Home

Glory will need a patient and understanding home that can give her the time and space to decompress and build confidence at her own pace. She may need help navigating doorways and transitions at first, and her family should be prepared to go slow and support her through those moments when she feels unsure.

Ongoing Health

Glory is up to date on vaccines, spayed, and microchipped.

Training & Support

While she can be hesitant to walk in indoor areas, she’s more comfortable outside and walks with a manageable leash pull once she gets going. She is attentive to her handler and enjoys treats and affection, which will be helpful as she continues to learn. Glory has shown interest in other dogs and can be redirected easily, but her new family should focus on helping her feel secure before introducing too many new pets to her. With patience, consistency, and a calm environment, Glory has all the potential to blossom into a more confident and happy companion.
