Bert is a handsome, 5.5-month-old Great Pyrenees with a heart full of potential! He's an independent fellow who spent his early months on a farm, gaining valuable experience with a variety of animals, including cats, sheep, turkeys, ducks, chickens, and cows. While he's comfortable around other creatures, Bert is looking for a role as a beloved family companion rather than a working dog. If you're seeking a confident and food-motivated friend to join your household, Bert might just be the perfect match for you!

Ongoing Health

Bert is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, and flea/heartworm prevention. He will receive a health exam and a veterinary certificate within 10 days of departure.

Training & Support

Bert is food motivated, which can be a great asset in training. As he is still young and has had farm experience, continued positive reinforcement training will help him settle into his new home.

• The adoption fee for out-of-state adoptions is $300 plus transport. This includes age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, a microchip, and a health exam.
• All adoptions are based on finding the best possible home for each animal, not on a first-come, first-served basis.

Transporation

Bert is currently fostered in Texas. He is available for adoption and transport to a predetermined location agreed upon by Wags. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport.
