Penny

Penny is an 18-month-old Terrier mix, weighing in at 16 pounds. She's a smart, affectionate, and devoted little shadow who loves to be by her person's side. Penny is known for her quiet presence and her sweet habit of nudging your legs with her nose as she follows you. She enjoys close contact and will likely want to snuggle up with you while you sleep. Penny also gets along well with other dogs, has been respectful of cats, and did well with a 6-year-old child. She is house-trained, knows how to use a doggy door, and is comfortable sleeping in a kennel, though she'd prefer to sleep next to her favorite person.

Ideal Home

Penny can be nervous around sudden movements, loud vehicles, fireworks, and vacuums. She would do best in a patient and understanding home that can help her build confidence with love and reassurance.

Ongoing Health

Penny is spayed, microchipped, fecal tested clean of internal parasites, and up to date on all her vaccinations, including rabies.

Training & Support

Penny is house-trained and knows how to use a doggy door. She will benefit from a patient and understanding family to help her build confidence.
