Meet Bubba Boy, an 8-year-old sweetheart with the gentlest soul. He's the definition of a soul dog, and the bond you'll build with him will be truly special. His favorite place in the world is curled up on your chest, snuggled in close for hours. Bubba is calm, low-energy, and perfectly content relaxing at home with his people. He's easygoing, affectionate, and happiest when he's soaking up love and sunshine, though he does enjoy an occasional zoom around the backyard once a month. Don't let his chill personality fool you; Bubba gets so excited when the leash comes out and walks beautifully, doing great passing other dogs.
Ideal Home
Because Bubba is an older gentleman, we recommend a home with children ages 5+.

Training & Support
Bubba does not jump and gives kisses very sparingly, which makes them extra special. He loves to lay his whole body on your chest, making him a professional-level snuggler. He also loves sunbathing in the backyard and burrowing underneath blankets. He rides well in the car. Bubba has been cat and dog tested and passed! He is a bit timid/unsure with dominant dogs. We think he would do great living with a cat! We are happy to test Bubba in additional situations to help ensure the perfect fit for both him and his future family.

Transporation
Bubba is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run, USDA-certified transport system. Transport drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time. A $87 surcharge applies to transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
