Waffles McGee (Duece)

Waffles McGee, a handsome 1 year and 7-month-old male Staffordshire Mix weighing around 55 lbs, is a squishy-faced, big-hearted boy who has been through more than we’ll probably ever fully know. Despite his past, Waffles still believes in people! He greets you with a soft wag, walks nicely on leash, and just wants to be close. He’s got that goofy, lovable personality that makes you smile, with a little bounce in his step and a whole lot of love to give. Waffles McGee is healing — inside and out — and he’s looking for someone who will see past his rough start and into the incredible dog he’s becoming.

Ideal Home

Waffles would thrive with a confident, patient owner who can give him structure, love, and a little time to decompress. He would do best with someone who understands strong, loyal breeds and is ready for a true companion. Older children are recommended.

Ongoing Health

Waffles has been neutered, vaccinated (Rabies, Bordetella, DA2PP), and microchipped. He is currently heartworm positive, and this is being addressed with guidance provided to the adopter.

Training & Support

Waffles walks nicely on a leash. His house-training status is unknown but likely with routine. He would likely do well with a crate. He is selective with other dogs and needs proper introductions. His compatibility with cats is unknown.
