Mickey

Meet Mickey, a playful and affectionate Terrier mix puppy who's ready to find his forever home! Mickey, along with his littermates, grew up in Puerto Rico with their mama Minnie and is now looking for a loving family in the DC area. He enjoys playing with toys, getting his zoomies out, and receiving plenty of snuggles. Mickey is eager to explore his new neighborhood on walks and make new doggie friends. He's also excited to start puppy obedience classes to show off his smarts!

Ideal Home

Mickey is looking for a home that will provide him with plenty of opportunities for play and exercise. As a young puppy, he will need multiple potty breaks and exercise opportunities throughout the day, so potential adopters with standard 8-hour workdays must be willing to make arrangements to meet his needs.

Ongoing Health

Mickey has received age-appropriate vaccinations but may not yet be fully vaccinated. Adopters are responsible for ensuring he receives his remaining puppy vaccinations on schedule. Until fully vaccinated, puppies are at greater risk for illness. Mickey has not yet been spayed or neutered; this must be completed by August 28, 2026, as per the adoption contract. A spay/neuter deposit is available if you wish for Lucky Dog to cover the cost at a partner vet.

Training & Support

Mickey will need to work on his house training and attend obedience school to become a well-socialized dog.
