BRIGHTON

Brighton is a precious little approximately 2-year-old, 11 lb Maltese mix who arrived at our local animal shelter with gunshot wounds to his right front leg. Sadly, the leg was shattered and couldn't be repaired, requiring amputation. But don't feel too sad for this brave boy! Brighton has adapted wonderfully to being a tripod and gets around with ease. He can hop into a car and onto the couch, and nothing seems to slow him down. He is his foster mom's best friend and follows her everywhere. He loves sitting on her lap and sleeps on her bed at night. Brighton gets along with other dogs, though he's not one for a lot of playing with them. He seems to ignore the foster's cats. This sweet boy is house-trained and walks well on a leash. He truly needs a home where he can receive lots of TLC.

Ideal Home

Brighton needs a home where he can get lots of TLC. We do not adopt to anyone with children under the age of 8 years, and he must go to an experienced dog owner.

Ongoing Health

Brighton is a happy and healthy tripod! All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on all shots and boosters, microchipped, and on monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.

Training & Support

Brighton is house-trained and walks well on a leash. He is a brave boy who has overcome so much and is ready to be your devoted companion.

Brighton is currently in a foster home in Norwalk, CT. The adoption fee of $400 includes transportation.
