Shadow Mini Hershey Kisses

Meet Shadow! She's a 1-year-old bundle of joy, a 45-pound mix of Black Lab and Pitbull, and she's eager to become your best friend. Shadow is incredibly affectionate, always ready to lean in for love and shower you with tail wags and puppy kisses. She's playful and energetic, especially when she has a toy to wrestle with, but she also enjoys a good cuddle session and favors a good booty scratch. Shadow is already potty-trained and walks nicely on a leash for 10-20 minutes a day, and she even knows a few simple commands!

Ideal Home

Shadow would thrive in a home with another confident, medium-energy dog who enjoys playing. A house with a yard would be a plus, as she loves to play, but she could adapt to apartment living with sufficient exercise and enrichment. She would do best in a home without cats, as she can get a little too excited around them. Because Shadow is still a bouncy puppy, older children would be the best fit for her family.

Ongoing Health

Shadow is up-to-date on all her vetting, including DAPP and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella, and multiple deworming treatments. She is also microchipped.

Training & Support

Shadow is treat-motivated and already knows how to sit, which will make training a fun and rewarding experience. She is still working on her leash manners, which is typical for her age and will improve with consistency and practice.

Shadow is currently located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. This service includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. You can track their journey in real time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
