Diego ¡Ándale! ¡Ándale!

Diego is a handsome 2-3 year old Doberman mix who weighs around 62 lbs. He's a spirited boy who loves to run at full speed and would thrive in a home that can provide him with ample opportunities for exercise and mental stimulation. Diego enjoys car rides and meeting new people, and he's generally quiet and observant. He's crate trained and sees it as his "off" button for quiet time. He's also been successfully fostered with dogs of all sizes and personalities, showing a playful nature and a desire to avoid conflict. Diego would do best in a home with a yard and owners who are familiar with the energy levels of the Doberman breed.

Ideal Home

A home with a yard where he can run freely is ideal for Diego. He needs opportunities to burn off energy before settling down. Due to his prey drive, Diego cannot be in a home with cats.

Ongoing Health

Diego's ears have some scarring and do not stand up. While they don't cause him discomfort or require ongoing care, this may be a result of past infections or attempts to heal. He has been neutered, vaccinated, and treated for heartworm.

Training & Support

Diego is crate trained. He has a strong instinct for smaller critters, so close supervision around them is recommended.

Diego is currently being fostered in Texas. Transportation options are available to the PNW (WA, UT, ID), Midwest (MN, WI, MI, OH, IL, IN), and select New England States (NY-NJ-CT-VA-VT) through our pet transport partners.
