Bert

Bert is a handsome, 5.5-month-old Great Pyrenees with a confident and food-motivated personality. He spent his early months on a farm, where he gained valuable experience with a variety of animals, including cats, sheep, turkeys, ducks, chickens, and cows. While he's had farm life experience, Bert is best suited as a beloved family dog rather than a working dog. He's ready to become your new best friend!

Ideal Home

Bert is looking for a family that can appreciate his independent spirit and confident demeanor. His farm experience means he's comfortable around many types of animals.

Ongoing Health

Bert is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming. He will also be current on flea and heartworm prevention. A health exam and veterinary certificate will be completed within 10 days of his departure.

Training & Support

As Bert is still young, continued positive reinforcement training will help him thrive. His food-motivated nature makes him an excellent candidate for learning new things!

• Our adoption fee for out-of-state adoptions is $300 plus transport (which varies by location). This fee covers age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, and a health exam by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.

Bert is currently fostered in Texas. He is available for transport to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue.
