Kilo

Kilo is a gentle, shy boy looking for a patient family to help him build confidence. He's a sweet dog who enjoys gentle reassurance, and he has excellent house and potty manners, though a routine will be key to his success. Kilo is friendly with dogs and even cats, though he tends to be a bit more intimidated by them than they are by him. He crates well and sleeps quietly through the night, and he absolutely loves belly rubs, toys, and chew bones! Kilo does get nervous in the car, so he'll need a secure setup and plenty of patience as he gains confidence. He also experiences separation anxiety and should be crated whenever left alone, even for short periods, to help keep him safe and prevent destructive behaviors while he continues building his confidence. Kilo is a kind-hearted dog who will blossom with a patient family that lets him adjust at his own pace and reminds him the world isn't such a scary place.
