Ideal Home

Soapy requires a quiet, low-stress home with absolutely no other animals. She has a history of harming other animals and cannot live with them, even with slow introductions or training. A minimal activity lifestyle is essential due to her body and heart condition; she does not need walks and should not be over-exerted. She is happiest with a simple backyard and a chill routine.

Ongoing Health

Soapy has a heart condition and is on two medications. She also requires pain management for her spine and hips, with monthly medication costs around $50. She recently underwent an echocardiogram costing $1,100, and her next follow-up is in approximately 8 months. Her veterinary follow-up is already established with a vet in Frederick.

Training & Support

Soapy is not fully housebroken due to physical abnormalities affecting her bladder function, and she will need patience and understanding, not punishment. When overwhelmed, she can react strongly to nearby dogs and may redirect frustration by chewing or tearing items in her crate. She requires crate and reactivity management.
