Lainey

Lainey is a sweet and smart girl, a little over 4 months old and weighing around 20 lbs. She was found in Texas without her mom but we believe she's a delightful mix of Shepherd and Cattle Dog. Lainey is expected to grow into a medium-sized dog, likely around 45-50 lbs when fully grown. She absolutely loves people and other dogs, and her foster family says she hops around the house with joy and loves to go on walks! She's also incredibly smart – she figured out how to get back to her foster's home from the park after just one visit!

Ongoing Health

Lainey is vaccinated and microchipped. She will be spayed by the rescue once she reaches 6 months of age, even if she has already found her forever home.

Training & Support

Lainey is very food-motivated, which makes her a joy to train! She already knows how to use the stairs and sits on command. While she's still perfecting her outdoor potty habits, she's a pro at sitting patiently for her collar to be put on. She also walks surprisingly well on a leash!
