Vega

Hi there, I'm Vega, a 6-year-old, 70-pound, brindle and white Boxer looking for a forever home where I can share my boundless love and adventurous spirit! I'm an extremely loving, smart, and adventurous boy who enjoys playing, running, and exploring. I'm also very eager to please, especially if treats are involved! I'm neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative, so I'm all set to join your family. My foster mom says I have a ton of drive, which makes me super fun to work with, and I'd be amazing at dog sports because I love to work!

Ideal Home

I need an active owner who can keep up with me and take me on adventures – I'm definitely not a couch potato! I'm dog selective and require slow introductions to other dogs. Due to my high prey drive, I should not be around cats or other small animals. I do well with kids, but older children are best due to my size and energy level.

Ongoing Health

I am neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

I can be crate reactive and have some barrier frustration, but I'm learning and improving daily. I also need more work on leash training, as I tend to pull. Tools like a gentle leader might help me learn to walk better.
