CHOCOLATE

Chocolate is a sweet 9-year-old, 7-8 lb Yorkshire Terrier mix with a heart of gold. She came to us from AHS, where she was at risk due to dental issues and common age-related conditions. Chocolate is a little timid at first, but she warms up quickly and has a charming little trot when she's excited to meet someone or see something interesting. She walks nicely on a leash and harness and does well in her crate.

Ideal Home

Chocolate would thrive in a calm home environment, ideally with one or two other senior dogs of a similar size.

Ongoing Health

Chocolate recently underwent extensive dental work and bloodwork. She will need canned/wet dog food until she has fully healed. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Chocolate is still working on her housebreaking skills and is not yet comfortable with dog doors, but she does use puppy pads.
