Meet Leeah!

Leeah is a delightful 6-year-old girl, weighing in at about 45 pounds, who is searching for her forever home. She was rescued over a year ago and has brought immense joy to her current family. Sadly, due to an unexpected out-of-state move, her family is heartbrokenly unable to bring her along and is committed to finding her a safe and loving place to continue to be cherished. Leeah is described as a dream of a dog, offering the perfect balance of a cozy couch companion and an enthusiastic adventure buddy. She is wonderful with children and cats, and her endearing habits include happy toe-tapping at mealtime and keeping her favorite people's beds warm. Leeah is also reliably un-crated when left alone, fully kennel trained, rides well in the car, and tolerates baths and vet visits with ease. She has even enjoyed doggy daycare and overnight boarding.

Ideal Home

Leeah would love a yard to enjoy some sunshine and zoomies, but her greatest desire is a comfortable couch, loving people, and a true sense of belonging.

Ongoing Health

Leeah is missing one eye, but this does not affect her quality of life or require any special care. She is completely self-sufficient and lives life just like any other happy dog.

Training & Support

Leeah can be a bit strong on leash initially due to her excitement, but she quickly calms down and walks beautifully.
