Fred

Meet Fred! This long-legged, lanky lad is about 2 years old and a wonderful mix of breeds. Fred is an energetic guy who is ready to burst out of the shelter and start his new life. He really loves his treats and is quite lean, so gaining a few pounds will make him look even more stunning. Fred offers an amazing sit, patiently waiting for his reward, and he's learning to take treats gently, which will surely make training enjoyable. He also knows "down" and will just need consistency to maintain it. Fred is a strong boy who needs continued work on leash walking, but volunteers are happy to share tips to set you both up for success.

Ideal Home

Fred loves having freedom in the yard to bounce around, run laps, and engage with his person. He's also a snuggler and leaner, but be prepared for some drool! While Fred passed his initial dog/dog assessment, due to his energy and style, a meet-and-greet with any resident dog is required to ensure a good fit.

Ongoing Health

Fred is a bit lean and could benefit from gaining a few pounds.

Training & Support

Fred needs continued work on leash walking. Volunteers are available to offer guidance and methods to help you and Fred succeed.
