This handsome seven-year-old Australian Cattle Dog, weighing in at 49 pounds, is a loyal heart wrapped in a beautiful blue mottled coat. Tofu is an intelligent and sensitive boy who thrives on predictability and security. Once he trusts you, he's a devoted companion who loves being close to his favorite humans, whether for a cozy couch session, a gardening buddy, or an exciting outdoor adventure!

Ideal Home

Tofu is seeking a calm, adult-only home with experienced pet parents who understand anxious or reactive dogs. He needs a patient caregiver committed to positive reinforcement and thoughtful management. Tofu is not comfortable around children and should live in a home without them, as their unpredictable nature can increase his anxiety.

Training & Support

Tofu is a smart boy who has completed formal training and knows commands like sit, down, place, roll, heel, come, shake, and high five. He responds well to structure and clear guidance. Tofu can be cautious around unfamiliar people and has a history of fear-based nips when strangers make direct eye contact or attempt to pet him before he's comfortable. He consistently gives warning signs. Slow, structured introductions where his need for space is honored are key to him settling in well. He gets along with most other dogs and can live with a confident cat.
