Panda is a shy but sweet pup who's estimated to be two years old and weighs around 50 pounds. We think he's a Pittie mix, but as a rescue, this is just our best guess! Panda got his name from his black and white coat and his wonderfully mellow nature. He absolutely loves toys, chew bones, and his daily walks, enjoying all the finer things in life! Panda thrives on routine and structure, loving to wake up each day knowing what to expect. He's a dog who will reward you endlessly with unconditional love and gratitude, making him a truly special companion.
Ideal Home
Panda would thrive in a quiet, serene suburban or rural home, ideally somewhere off the beaten path. He absolutely loves the company of other dogs, especially playful females, and would do best in a home with at least one canine companion. He previously did well in a home with children aged 5 and up, but they would need to be respectful and sweet with him. We do not recommend him for a home with cats.
Ongoing Health
Panda is a rescue dog and will need time to decompress in his new home. He is kennel trained and fully house trained.
Training & Support
Panda is still learning about life with a loving family and stable home. Patience, Nyla bones, and walks are key to his heart. He is great on leash and perfect for tandem walks, really bonding with his people during these excursions. He's also a seasoned professional passenger and settles well in the car. He loves to snuggle up at night and will inch closer to you on the couch for cuddles.

Transporation
Panda is currently located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions across the US through our own internal transport to ensure the quality of care. We travel to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada. Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT. Our pups travel in comfort with 24/7 care on our USDA licensed vehicles, including buses and cargo vans. You can follow their adventure on our private Facebook event page.
