Meet Brownie, a handsome and sweet Border Collie mix who is approximately 2 years old and weighs around 35 pounds. Brownie's journey began with a heartbreaking abandonment at a local farmers market, but he hasn't let that dim his loving spirit one bit! He's a smart, attentive boy who is eager to please and ready to shower his new family with affection.
Ideal Home
Brownie would thrive in a home that can appreciate his bright Border Collie intelligence and provide him with continued training and enrichment. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and children, making him a great fit for many family dynamics.
Ongoing Health
Brownie is currently undergoing treatment for heartworms using the slow-kill method. He has completed his doxycycline course and received his ProHeart 12 injection. To continue his successful treatment, he will need to remain on Advantage Multi or NexGard PLUS. We will provide the first six months of prevention.
Training & Support
Brownie is already crate trained and house trained, and he's learning his basic commands. His eagerness to please makes him an excellent candidate for continued positive reinforcement training.
