Cowboy is a courageous 2-year-old survivor who has overcome immense hardship. He was found abandoned and injured, having been used as a bait dog. Despite the trauma he's experienced, Cowboy is a resilient soul. He has been neutered, is up-to-date on vaccines, and is receiving treatment for heartworm. He can be cautious around other dogs and may do best as the only pet in the home. Cowboy also takes time to warm up to men, but with patience and understanding, he will surely blossom. He is a testament to the strength of the spirit and deserves a loving and secure forever home.

Cowboy may do best as an only dog, where he can feel completely safe and relaxed. He needs a patient adopter who understands he may take time to warm up to men.
