Bonzo Wigglebutt is a charming 2.5-month-old German Shepherd mix with a classic black and tan coat accented by a sweet white chest patch. He's a bit more reserved than his sister at first, preferring to observe before diving in. However, with a little patience and gentle encouragement, his affectionate and loving personality truly blossoms. Bonzo enjoys playing with his siblings and is eager to learn, easily adapting to established routines. He has a natural herd instinct and loves to follow his more confident companions, learning about the world through their adventures. He's currently thriving in a home with his siblings and a larger German Shepherd, using their confidence as a guide. Bonzo is settling into a consistent schedule, including regular feeding, playtime, kennel time, and sleeping through the night. Once he trusts you, he becomes an absolute snuggle bug, soaking up all the affection you offer. While he may not be the first to greet you, he's the one who will stay close once he's earned your trust, offering quiet loyalty and a deep connection.

Ongoing Health
Bonzo has received age-appropriate vetting, including DAPP vaccinations with boosters, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccine. He has also undergone multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and received a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He is microchipped with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
As a puppy, Bonzo will need continued patience, consistency, and a gentle approach to his training. He is learning from his siblings and the resident German Shepherd, showing adaptability and a willingness to learn.

Bonzo is currently located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue's USDA-certified transport system, which ensures safe and comfortable travel for all pets with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick-up locations are in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You will have the opportunity to track your pet's journey in real-time with photo updates and connect with other adopters through a private Facebook event page. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
