Juniper Jolene "Juni"

Meet Juniper Jolene, a scruffy white terrier mix who's about 18 pounds and under two years old! This energetic and playful girl is fully vaccinated, spayed, dewormed, and microchipped, all ready to find her forever home. Juniper is a real sweetheart with a love for all things stuffy, bones, and chew toys – though she's known to be a champion toy destroyer! Her favorite games include chase, keep-away, and tug of war, and she's always up for a romp with other dogs. She arrived with two other dogs, abandoned and scared, but with patience and love, Juniper has blossomed into a happy, affectionate girl who is learning what it feels like to be safe and cherished. She can be a little shy with new people, but once she warms up, she becomes incredibly cuddly and devoted, often called a "velcro dog" for her desire to be close to her person.

Ideal Home

Juniper would do best in a home without small children, as she can be a bit shy due to her sensitive past. A calm and patient household will help her continue to build confidence. She is good with other dogs her size when introduced slowly and would likely do best with a passive male dog who enjoys playful companionship. Cats are not recommended as Juniper enjoys chasing.

Juniper is fully vaccinated, spayed, dewormed, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Juniper is treat-motivated and eager to learn. She is crate trained and sleeps through the night. She learned to use the doggy door immediately. Potty training is ongoing, but she does use piddle pads indoors. She is also working on leash training and improving with practice. She has had a positive experience at the groomer and will do well with a patient groomer.
