Rosie Cherry (Dallas)

Rosie Cherry is a sweet little lady, about 14 years young and weighing around 15 pounds. She's a Shih-Tzu mix with some health needs, but they certainly don't slow her down! Rosie is a fast learner and absolutely adores being by her human's side. She's mostly housebroken but will appreciate a timely potty break to avoid the occasional accident. Rosie loves dinnertime and taking her medication, and while she can be playful with a little encouragement, she's also perfectly content to sit back and listen.

Ideal Home

Rosie would love a home where she can be close to her favorite human. Due to her size and past experiences, Rosie cannot be placed in a home with large breed dogs.

Ongoing Health

Rosie is managing diabetes, mature cataracts (she is blind), and congestive heart failure with a 5/6 heart murmur. She is responding well to her current medication and special diet, which will need to continue.

Training & Support

Rosie is mostly housebroken, but it's important to take her out regularly.
