Hi, I'm Melody, a 2-year-old red and white hound mix who's already spayed and ready for my forever home!
At 65 pounds, I'm a striking girl with a calm, gentle soul - I'm the kind of companion who'd rather spend quality time cuddling on the couch than causing a fuss. I do wonderfully with other dogs and make great car trips, though I'm a bit shy at first (but don't worry, my affectionate side comes out once I know you). I have had a hard life so far, my rescue found bullet fragments in my front paw and a bullet lodged in my back paw! Not to worry, they are helping me to heal, but I would love to at least find a foster home so that I can do so peacefully away from the kennels.
