Maddox is a 4-year-old Belgian Malinois mix with a heart of gold. She and her sister Mel experienced a sudden and difficult change when their world was turned upside down by their parents' divorce. While Mel has found her forever home, Maddox is still waiting for her special someone. She's currently being fostered in Houston, Texas.
Maddox is an incredibly sweet and well-behaved pup. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and children, and has experience living with a cat and two young kids. While she enjoys a good game of fetch, Maddox is generally a quiet dog who prefers to relax with her foster family. She's a bit reserved and appreciates having her own peaceful space. She is housebroken, crate trained, and very affectionate, making her a loving companion rather than a high-drive working dog. Maddox weighs 60 lbs, is fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. She loves to sunbathe and snuggle. The recent upheaval in her life has been stressful, so she's looking for a home filled with lots of love and affection.
Ideal Home
Maddox would thrive in a home that offers plenty of love and affection. She needs a home with an adequately and fully fenced yard; electric or underground fences are not accepted.

Maddox is fully vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. She is kept on ProHeart 12.
Training & Support
Maddox is housebroken and crate trained. She is a reserved dog who appreciates her own quiet space and is better suited as a companion than a high-drive working dog.
