Buddy McBee

Buddy McBee is a 3.5 year old, 63 lb male Australian Shepherd mix with a heart full of love just waiting to be unlocked! Buddy has overcome a difficult past and is blossoming beautifully with the help of his foster family. He's a smart, playful boy who loves to run and is eager to please. He's made wonderful progress and is showing everyone that he can trust and be a loving companion. Buddy is leash-trained, knows basic commands, and has even undergone professional training, including muzzle training and desensitization. He's a very special dog who needs a patient and understanding owner to continue building his confidence.

Ideal Home

Buddy needs a calm, experienced dog owner who understands that building trust takes time. He thrives with a steady and confident presence. He would do best in a home without young children, but could potentially live with a mellow, respectful canine companion.

Ongoing Health

Buddy has no known ongoing health conditions. His adoption donation includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies), spay/neuter, and microchip.

Training & Support

Buddy is leash-trained and knows commands like sit, shake, and lay down. He has also benefited from professional training, including muzzle training and learning to remain calm. He feeds off his owner's energy, so a calm and confident demeanor will be most beneficial for him.

Transporation

Buddy is currently in South Texas. We offer transportation to multiple states on the East and West Coast, including Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, and Virginia, with placement directly in adoptive homes.
