Meet Ernie!
This ridiculously handsome chocolate Lab/Staffy mix is a big, strong hunk of a dog and the sweetest, squishiest love bug you've ever met. He has the world's happiest pittie smile, soulful amber eyes, the cutest little forehead wrinkles, and enough personality to keep you smiling every single day. Ernie is the definition of a good boy. He's fully potty trained, crate trained, walks wonderfully on leash, knows sit, and has fantastic house manners. He's been living with two other large dogs in his foster home where he has been absolutely amazing. Ernie's absolute favorite thing in the world is his people. He's a lover through and through, happy to be wherever his favorite humans are, whether that's sitting beside you or enjoying the weather on the patio. When he's not perfecting his signature move, the "sploot," he's usually carrying around one of his beloved stuffed toys. Ernie is absolutely obsessed with giant plushies. He's also a social butterfly with other dogs and absolutely loves to play chase. When the zoomies are over, he's in instant cuddle mode, happy to curl up beside you for a quiet evening. Ernie was wonderful with children, showing just how gentle this big guy really is.

Ernie would do best in a cat-free home, as he's made it pretty clear they're a little too exciting for him.

Drop off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
