Spider Mite

Spider Mite is a charming 4-year-old chihuahua with a lot of personality! He's neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. While he has that classic chihuahua attitude, he's also incredibly loyal and affectionate once he feels comfortable. He's very particular about who he trusts, preferring a gentle voice and often bonding best with women, especially of the senior variety. He'd make a wonderful lap dog and a surprisingly good guard dog for his chosen person. Spider Mite is great with other dogs of all sizes and is very polite towards cats and kittens. He enjoys his cozy beds at the rescue and loves following our founder, Sandy, around, even allowing her to carry him like a baby!

Ideal Home

Spider Mite would love to be the sole companion to a mature woman, ideally a senior, who can appreciate his loyal and charming nature. He is not a fan of young children and would prefer a home without them.

Training & Support

Spider Mite is great with pee pads and doggy doors. He can be a little wary of strangers, especially men, so patience and gentle introductions will be key to building his trust.
