Milo

Milo is a handsome 10-year-old Pekinese mix with a stunning copper and white coat. He came to us when his previous family could no longer keep him due to allergies. Milo is a little underweight at 11 lbs and will benefit from some extra care to reach a healthy weight. He's a smart boy who knows "sit" and "spin," and he enjoys walks and being outdoors. Milo is also housetrained and will let you know when he needs to go out. He travels well in the car and can be left alone for several hours without being destructive. He's generally good with other dogs and indifferent to cats. Milo is looking for a family to love and can't wait to find his forever home.

Ideal Home

Milo would do best in an adult-only home due to his protectiveness of treats and toys. He would be happy as an only dog or with another dog of similar size and age. A fenced backyard or a family committed to regular walks would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Milo has recently been neutered and had a dental cleaning with a few extractions. He is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and on flea and tick prevention. He is currently eating soft food while he recovers from his dental work. He may mark a bit in new surroundings, and a belly band is used during those times.

Training & Support

Milo needs a little time and space to adjust to new environments. Once he feels comfortable, he is very affectionate. He is house-trained but may mark in new places. He is unable to jump onto furniture but can use stairs.
